Connecting at Conferences

Comunidad residents and faculty at the 2024 LMSA National Conference facilitating connections among Latiné students and current UCSF residents.

Networking with Faculty

Opportunities to get to know comunidad faculty who understand the challenges of being underrepresented in medicine and can provide mentorship along the way.

We partnered with Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts to host a screen printing class for our members followed by a vigil for Dia De Los Angelitos.

National Latiné Physician Day

We celebrated NLPD on October 1, 2024 with activities throughout the day including Grand Rounds, lunch hosted by UCSF's Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) & the Latinx Center of Excellence (LCOE), and a resident & fellow rooftop dinner sponsored by the UCSF Office of Diversity & Outreach (ODO)!
